How to make someone feel important

The deepest urge in human nature is the 'desire to be important'. If you make people feel valuable and important in your company- they will feel you are important and valuable as well.

Do not Judge

God himself does not propose to judge man until the end of his days-- why should you?

Basically- do not critize whatever or whoever you are trying to get a point of influence from. It puts people on the defensive and make them strive to justify themselves.
Critism is dangerous it wounds pride, hurt peoples sense of importance and aroused resentment.

Monopoly and life

After playing this game for the past two weeks a few notices of interest.
Life is like monopoly- 1) depends on the roll of the dice if you land in jail or on Boardwalk...
2) You need to be creative and mortage when time gets tough
3) It depends on a roll of the dice if you land on free parking and win the 'loot-ery'
4)You can be the winner one time and the loser the next game
5) You get cocky when you are the big time winner in Monopoly
6) Do not let winning at Monopoly go to your head ( it will-- trust me)
7) Do not take losing at Monopoly too serious- there is always another game
8) Live life as if it were Monopoly- when we lose at Monopoly we know we can try again to win
So- if and when things get tough- it really in the end does not matter so much just pay attention to how you feel- and how to are treating others- remember this too will pass!

HIgh heels

I am a true believer in heels for women!
They put you on a pedestal which is where you belong.
Select the highest and most expensive pair you can wear for a function---
and learn how to walk in them first!
"You have to spend money to make money" Invest in good shoes and wait for the cocktail and dinner invites to pour in!

Shoes

The higher the better! The more expensive the better- yes ladies quality truly does count here. "One shoe can change your life" quote from Cinderella!

Stylish while being late

I do not think being late is stylish at all personally. I do think it is plain rude..however it sometime happens (more often it seems to some people than others) if you are stuck in this situation-- offer a sincere apology... offer compliments "How nice to see you- you look devine" then go on to comment about the weather or the traffic.
If you are very late- follow above- hint at some personal drama then take the attention away from yourself by engaging in the present conversation " So what have I missed ?
If terrible late you can borrow a line from Marilyn Monroe .......modified of course..her line was
"I have often been on calendars but never on time" your line could be...
"Gosh, I have never been on the cover of a calendar and I suppose also never on time!"
Ladies though try to never be so rude- be on time!

After you are dressed- reapply your perfume in a spray and walk through it so the scent adheres to your clothes- you will not be over perfumed!
Hint- you can layer your scents so phase one and two need not be the same!

When getting dressed remember to spray or dab you perfume on your bare skin while you are applying your make-up- any where you think you may get kissed later is a good start!

Your thoughts can change your life- believe you have, are whatever it is you desire and at the very least you can enjoy your life in the believe realm.
I have done this for years- it has saved me so much money in new vehicles- I have a Mercedes, a Lexus, Ferrari-= (all in my mind) but I have had so much fun driving the various cars every day!
Treat yourself and respect yourself as though you had all you want or need.
(The added specialness in this is you find yourself not wanting, not judging and you are not jealous of anyone else- 'cause you have everything you want!)

Say no to gossip!

I know how much women talk about each other- and it seems to very hurtful and of no good ends. I understand how sometimes women like to talk about- most often the women they truly and privately envy- but really not nice!
We have all had at some time or other heard some hurtful gossip about ourselves- so please try not to lower yourself to white trailer trash and gossip about another woman!
Truly- most of the time women only do chat about someone, richer, taller, thinner, more successful then themselves (so in a way you are actually complementing the women you talk about as they are important enough for you to waste your valuable time degrading- we generally do not waste our time with folks that 'well just do not measure up to us!)
so- say no to gossip!

Do something naughty!

Nothing illegal- or mean spirited but something slightly naughty!
Go out in a dress and old fashioned stockings- sans underwear!
Steal a flower from your neighbours flower bed- heck go garden raiding after midnight! (Carefully)
Smoke a cigar and have some scotch-- in an evening gown!
Flirt with the waiter---
something spontaneous- fun and exciting!

Apologize - and mean it!

Sometimes we all make a blunder, faux pas, mistake--- or simply are snitty!
Gosh, darn and OMG--- well- buck up princess and apologize--- and mean it!
Simply by saying "I am sorry"---- makes you the Princess you are meant to be!

Only the best~!

Choose something in your life that you will only allow the best---for most of us that is something small (due to money). Pick the best bubble bath, the best towels, sheets, maybe shoes if you can afford it....
"I vow from this day forward I will settle for only the best of _____________"
For me that is chocolate!
Only the best will do---- however I will keep sampling- just in case the best is better then what I have had.

Focus on the shoes-- remember to NEVER have heels that do not have the rubber on the heel! That sound is disgusting- also make sure the shoes are polished- sounds silly--But, you know as well as I do how many times you have seen women with unpolished shoes and that clicking noise!
Diana Vreeland went so far as to have her 'staff' polish the underside of her soles so the wear would not show- now that is classy!
Keep one of those self polish foams in your vehicle- take your shoes to the shoemaker and have them 'freshen' up your favorite pair- and wear them with jeans-- nice and polished always!

Coco and Jackie

Often in todays' world the fine art of simple manners seem to be forgotten- it is rather easy to remind one self that there are many women to emulate.
Coco, Jackie Kennedy, Auntie Mame ( from the movie of the same name) find your own idol and ask yourself what would she do in this situation...... for the younger set try not to choose any woman with the last name Hilton, Lohan or Spears!

Fancy English houses have names-- as most famous houses have names so should yours.Every 'princess' deserves to live in a grande home- perhaps it sounds pretentious- but what the heck the 'princesses' in your life will understand.Chateau "insert yourname'"insert your name" Maison....Century Farm..... The Pillow Palace.... find something that suits your mansion and you!
